Elphael Brace Of The Haligtree Walkthrough And Secret Areas

Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree is one of the most intricate late-game areas in Elden Ring, serving as the lower sanctuary of Miquella's Haligtree. Navigating its narrow architecture, heavily guarded corridors, and hidden chambers requires precise movement and careful strategy. By taking time to explore every walkway and ledge, players can discover rare upgrade materials, powerful equipment, and essential shortcuts.

How to Access Elphael

Players can reach Elphael after exploring the upper branches of Miquella's Haligtree and defeating Loretta, Knight of the Haligtree. Following the path past the boss arena leads down to a tower with an elevator that descends directly onto the main bridge of the fortress. From there, players can step into the Prayer Room Site of Grace to begin exploring the citadel.

Navigating the Ramparts and Outer Passages

The upper ramparts of Elphael feature multi-layered walkways protected by Haligtree soldiers, knights, and ballistae. Carefully dropping onto support beams and lower archways allows players to bypass heavy defenses and ambush patrolling enemies. Traversing these hidden exterior paths often reveals chests containing high-level Smithing Stones and valuable talismans.

Unlocking Hidden Rooms and Secret Loot

Elphael is filled with imp statue seals that require Stonesword Keys to open, rewarding players who keep extra keys in their inventory. Behind these fog gates, players can find rare items such as the Triple Rings of Light incantation and Marika's Soreseal. Other secret corners hide valuable spirit ashes, including the Cleanrot Knight Finlay Ashes, alongside key quest items like the Seedbed Curse.

Reaching the Drainage Channel and Haligtree Roots

Proceeding through the lower levels leads players toward the rot-filled Drainage Channel, where navigating the roots becomes crucial for progress. This treacherous path leads directly to the depths of the sanctuary, culminating at the Haligtree Roots Site of Grace. Here, players face the ultimate challenge of the area by confronting Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
